We were using a GIT repository to control the source so building the app was as easy as doing a ‘push’ to Phone Gap Build.
After a brief build cycle (less than a minute) we could download the installer packages and test the app right on the devices.
It was really impressive and helped us get the app into the hands of the testers right away.
Adobe Phone Gap is a standards-based, open-source development framework for building cross-platform mobile apps with HTML, CSS and Java Script for i OS, Android™ and Windows® Phone 8.
App Widgets are miniature application views that can be embedded in other applications (such as the Home screen) and receive periodic updates.
These views are referred to as Widgets in the user interface, and you can publish one with an App Widget provider.
An application component that is able to hold other App Widgets is called an App Widget host. This document describes how to publish an App Widget using an App Widget provider.
